Rotties Aust Relief Fund

About the Relief Fund

The Rotties Aust Relief Fund has been setup to make payments to Rottweiler owners in Australia who have been adversely affected by the disasters such as the devastating February 2009 bushfires in Victoria. Rotties Aust Relief Fund payments will be paid to provide shelter, food, vet fees and associated requirements for the welfare of their Rottweilers.

Numerous other emergency service agencies provide support for people and we believe that we should look to this fund to provide support for owners of Rottweilers who need emergency assistance in times of disaster.

If you agree please donate what you can – we are sure it will be appreciated

It is our desire that this fund will be ongoing to enable us to assist should any future emergency arise.

The caretaker administrators will be at this stage :-

Dawn Ayton (Vic) , Mike Pearce (WA) , Lyle Barry (Qld) & Yvonne Van der Horst (NT)

What is most important to those wishing to access funds will be the ease of getting funds into the hands of those needing assistance. The funds will be available as cash, cheque or deposit into the account of the claimant once the administrators approve of the payment.

Should you know anyone needing assistance, details of how to apply for funding will be available soon. Specific details will be posted as soon as we can but in the meantime we think the most pressing matter at the moment is to get some monies into the account.

Please note, at this stage the relief fund is only available to applicants located in Australia.

We sincerely thank those people who have pledged funds for the Relief Fund and ask that you now process your payments into the Rotties Aust Relief Fund bank account - details can be found on our "How to Donate" page.

As an additional fundraiser, we also ran a Virtual Rottweiler Show - please visit the "Virtual Rottweiler Show" page for details.
